Well, there is actually no need to pop-up up a warning. It would be annoying if you know what you are doing and need to get rid of the message...

Confirmed: After downloading unvanquished-0.41.0.pkg daemon v0.40 it bails out with "Error during error handling: CGame VM: IPC: Unexpected end of message" Misleading error messages, completely useless for the average users....
