I get the same thing, but not from Rubinius, from MRI. It hangs on making encs. I'm going to try reproducing outside of ruby-install.

Also chasing this problem trying to migrate. I have a Rails 6 branch in the works (same codebase), where this error doesn't occur, so I imagine it is a Rails...

Just FYI the Drug Interactions are available in a downloadable XML file here: https://go.drugbank.com/releases/latest. It should be pretty straightforward to parse out.
