Double click could still open the folder. I just think a second one click option is needed as not everyone would think of double clicking within a browser window.

Just been chatting with Dimitris and there is a bit of backend work to be done here. I'll revisit styling this UI once this is resolved.

I guess there is two base options here... 1. Small modal with a compact view of the media manager 2. Full screen modal similar to the current media manager

I presume it to be same as standard checkboxes. Selecting multiple items [CTRL+Click] for windows and [Command+Click] for iOS.

Yes that could work. We can group them where needed in CSS. Extension might be best.
