Hey thanks for the kind words. The migration is in place in v4.3.0, but there is no planned ETA for displaying incoming messages from non-roster contacts.

If you'd like to propose a change in this behavior, please consider submitting a pull request.
If your server doesn't advertise support for XEP-0363 it won't work. Try checking the Server Information tab in your Account settings.

I've noticed this as well. Perhaps related to having a paid account? Maybe it's for the best though. Do we really need those extra pages of content?
