Update 20240919, I've tested and observed the same issue appearing for version `1.65.4`. Noted by @jeremylaier-tc [here](https://github.com/grpc/grpc/issues/37178#issuecomment-2359016112). cc @sreenithi

@bieschke We've had to temporarily set a version limit for `grpcio==1.66.1` in our dependencies, which is not ideal. How are you working around this?
