I have a similar issue that might be related: I use `bg=light` on `neovim` and when activating via `:Goyo` and deactivating again (via `:Goyo` or `:Goyo!`, doesn't matter) vim reproducably...
That's good to know! I tried to test, but the current checkout of sway, while compiling, seems to misbehave, so I cannot verify this. But that sounds like the issue...

FTR: wlroots: 0.12.0-g44fa2c4b (aka yesterday's master or so) still has the issue. Not sure if it helps anything, but at least an observation I can add to the stack.
Thanks, this does indeed solve the mentioned issue. I didn't think that reject all was so… liberally implemented, but with the immediate handling the problem in fact does not exist....

The code is done and works both ways now, you can test it if you want. I'm still looking if I can get it to terminate if it is on...
