Seems current NppFTP 0.29.13 could recover successfully from timeout in case of a plain FTP connection, but not for FTPS/FTPES. Unclear how SFTP behaves. It seems the spontaneous server response...
Download was still configured to: http://npp-tidy2.googlecode.com/files/Tidy2_0.2.zip updated with: https://storage.googleapis.com/google-code-archive-downloads/v2/code.google.com/npp-tidy2/Tidy2_0.2.zip on the dev list. Probalby should be moved over to github in the near future.
My change was just a correction of the link, no functional changes. Maybe you can check: https://github.com/geoffmcl/NppTidy2/releases which contains a new tidy version 5.3.1.

Should work automatically, but seems to break from time to time.
@bruderstein https://npppm.bruderste.in/users/login is not accessible: **502 Bad Gateway**. Could this be fixed?
@rbsec I could confirm this behaviour. But at least it should be possible to first run the update and then uninstall. As the pluginlist just contains the delete operation of...
