I agree on the migration part, but a normal user should be allowed to change the compute offering on a VM if this doesn't lead to a volume migration.
@rohityadavcloud nope, unfortunately this does not work too. Still receive same error from the UI.
here attached you can find the log of the vm deploy. [debug.log](https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/files/9324680/debug.log) I trried as RAM value 1024 or 2048 with same result.

@shwstppr if I apply a compute offring without dynamic scaling enabled the dynamic scale option is grayed out in the UI
@andrijapanicsb ok, got it. But why this implementation if I may ask? In case what work-around do you use to migrate VMs without touching the snapshot?
   
Hi @DaanHoogland not in the management logs when the user login. Unfortunately no. @rohityadavcloud we just completed this test with our client and I'm posting the errors received.
