I would argue that Eth2 validator addresses at phase 0 should have mandatory checksums, and the checksum should be verified by the Eth1 deposit contract.

I'm still using chisel 0.1.0 because its the only version I can figure out how to use.
We'd like this merged too, and [rand version](https://github.com/rust-lang-deprecated/rustc-serialize/blob/master/Cargo.toml#L20) bumped 0.4, which had a wasm fix in https://github.com/rust-lang-nursery/rand/pull/197.
