You'll find that your echo is registered with English (UK) which it considers a different language to English (US). Due to this, it won't use apps created for another "language"....

Did anything come of this? Would be interested in having a secure login as well as getting it working with server.app

How would one prepare disks / osds with this feature not currently implemented when working with nautilus?
