Graph view broken

Describe your problem.

The line's connecting nodes are inconsistent colours, the nodes change colours when you interact with them, sometimes there are weird boxes around node text.

graph view seems to be completely broken now... good opportunity to fix the above issues I guess - I am busy for the next one and a bit weeks but I might be able to get around to this after that
