I'm not sure if we want to do this, since copying doesn't behave that way anywhere else. I'd be curious to hear thoughts from @elementary/ux.
We'll have to make sure this doesn't wreck in-Terminal apps like vim or nano or whatever.
This is probably an implementation detain in LibVTE or GTK itself; it looks like GTK smooths scrolls on the scrollbar, but I know VTE is (intentionally) not smooth.
This would be a nice pattern across multiple apps! I could see it being useful in Files, Ephemeral, Code, and any other app that lets you zoom with the keyboard...
I don't think we can know if something is actively "working" versus waiting for user input, but I'm not sure. If so, something like a loading spinner could make sense,...
@GammaGames I'm not opposed to coral, but those are all really grainy/fuzzy to me.
Thanks for your contribution (and patience :sweat_smile:)! I like the image, but don't feel it really fits with elementary OS/Pantheon; even though the top panel is transparent, it still feels...
This should have been fixed by recent AppCenter updates. If it crops again again, feel free to comment and we can re-open.
@queeup can you provide more information about what happened before you experienced it again? Do you have a third-party Flatpak remote added? What shows up when you run `flatpak update`...
Isn't this also what the "provides" tag is supposed to help deduplicate? But I agree with @tintou here, there is a spec and we aren't really responsible for apps changing...
