@veryordinally this might be interesting to you! A more safe first use-case could be building index.redb files for benchmarking, which would make that much easier.

We could add a metadata field to an inscription that said "the next N sats after this inscription" are fungible tokens. Support in ord would be hard, because special tracking...
I'm inclined not to do this. Taproot Assets and RGB are much better ways to do fungible assets.
