It actually also gets stuck if I set `StopTime = 0.058300000000001`. I set LOG_EVENT_V, but there are no more events after that.
OK, I think this is how far I can get with this model. Please load [DCDC.zip](https://github.com/OpenModelica/OpenModelica/files/14984532/DCDC.zip) and open DCDC.Examples.Buck_Rvar, which is now set with Ron = 1e-4, no equidistant time...
Summing up, @AHaumer's test model has two issues when run in OMC 1. The default value of `Ron = 1e-5` is a bit too small, so it gets the nonlinear...
And, thanks to @AHaumer for bringing this up, of course 😃.
BTW, the OMEdit crash issue when changing Ron is already fixed, I checked with the latest nightly 😃
