Having the same issue on elementary OS 6.1 fully updated. This is indeed an extremely annoying bug.

I’m facing the same issue from time to time. I didn’t pay attention to see if it happens after installing updates or not but I will bear this in mind...

Would love to see ES on Android too but sadly with no commits since 2015 I’m not holding my breath.
