overlapping_submaps_trimmer_2d for 3d?

Is there something similar to overlapping_submaps_trimmer_2d for 3d? We are building a robot which is supposed to navigate in a dynamic environment. It will run for several hours and there will be cars close by. So there might be a car parked which isnt there anymore an hour later. So is there a way for the 3D mapper to remap this area as soon as it is navigating through this area again?
