Wow, great explanation! Personally I think having a separate name only for display in the menu would be awesome. I prefix all of my visual components with `V*` i.e. `VButton`...

feature request: Custom column

I found out recently that you can add your own columns with: ```lua require('oil.columns').register('customColumn', {}) ``` This may do what you need it to?
