Hi @devdattakulkarni, That means remove your package only from OCP 4.9+ catalogs. Nothing will change in the previous OCP versions where they work.

I think that is definitely something that we need to do. However, the implementation must be done here: https://github.com/operator-framework/api/blob/master/pkg/validation/internal/csv.go Would you like to contribute with? c/c @ryantking
