@Jusshersmith are there any plans for future updates here?

+1 for better logging of the group validation process - we are occasionally seeing some flaky behaviour with group validation and have no ability to troubleshoot at the moment.

Is this ever going to be addressed?

At the very least I think this behaviour should be documented. Very easy to lock yourself out of a cluster without knowing.
