Which version of xlsd do you have installed ? This should have been fixed since the 12th of April (see df9517f3ab33e3a030cca0472ccf511566d7076f), with version `0.1.15`.

By default it looks like virtualbox is set up to display in 800x600 when running in headless mode, so it should be fine.
