Metals fails to fetch build dependencies from custom repositories

yeah, I also tried using inline credentials, but metals doesn't seem to pick them up. The issue is that [repositories](https://get-coursier.io/docs/other-repositories) can only be specified with the `COURSIER_REPOSITORIES` env variable
