Chinese Language Convert Garbled

I'm attempt to translate the game Zeus & Poseidon to Chinese. It is supposed to work by following the tutorial. The way is replace the English text encoding with the Chinese(there used to be Chinese version) and replace the fonts in English version. But the text in the game displays question marks. The writer of the tutorial said that the Big5 implementation of code may cause the problem, and he/she cannot solve it for the moment. You can see the chat record as below. $BJ N3N {81L%0DP1B`OSUX

So I'd like to ask is there any way to solve this problem or translate the game to Chinese?

@UltimateLin Did you find out how to resolve this? I am trying to translate Emperor but encountered the same problem.

@larryxc Sadly, no. As I know, they only offer Caesar series technical support.
