Today trying the v4.2 on Macos 10.14.6, and it crashes every time I want to start. The Qt version is OK.

@ttscoff Nope. Preview is off/closed. (Assume you mean the window that opens when you press ^+CMD+P?) I do have the note window open. ie. the one below the note list....

@shantanugoel this appears to happen to many. It's been a frustration for me for some time having that line run down the screen. But @ludibelli has the workaround/solution. Thank you...
