check your MaxPowerUpsPerRound and MinCandyForPowerUps. a bit out of topic, I would recommend you to temporarily stop botting, since Niantic forcing updates now.
official app was updated from version 0.35.0 > 0.37.0 > 0.39.1. Its believed that there is API changes done by niantic. most bots not working for now due to this...

AFAIK, there is no limitation for how many pokemons that you can deploy to gyms. However, Niantic only count 10 pokemons for defender bonus (max. 100 pokecoins).
some is already explained on wiki. tutorial code name = your in-game name. roadie able to do start and gym tutorial for you.
its already implemented, you can adjust balls usage based on CP, IV, or V. kindly check settings.xml file.
add more delay between actions, and decrease your walking speed.
try to lower your longdistancespeed and increase maxdelay and mindelay.
bot will automatically adjust speed +/- 3 km/h to emulate human behaviour.
