The intended use case of > Periodically syncing application data with a server Seems like a good fit for syncthing. We can also map most of our run conditions. https://developer.android.com/topic/libraries/architecture/workmanager#reliable
The global discovery server has each global `tcp://` address of my node twice: ```json { "seen":"2022-08-02T20:12:05.432835713Z", "addresses":[ "quic://192.168.178.20:22001", "quic://80.128.xxx.xxx:22001", "quic://[2003:da:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:f7a0]:22001", "quic://[2003:da:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:ddc5]:22001", "tcp://192.168.178.20:22001", "tcp://80.128.xxx.xxx:22001", "tcp://80.128.xxx.xxx:22001", "tcp://[2003:da:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:f7a0]:22001", "tcp://[2003:da:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:f7a0]:22001", "tcp://[2003:da:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:ddc5]:22001", "tcp://[2003:da:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:ddc5]:22001" ] }...
Continuing the (lengthy) discussion from https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/issues/8443#issuecomment-1197320918 here. As of now Syncthing only publishes temporary IPv6 addresses to the global discovery server as these are enabled and used for outgoing connections...
It would be nice to define remote device addresses via SRV records. The benefit would be to easily change destination and port without requiring manual intervention on the other devices....
We announce IPv4 LAN addresses since v1.10.0(#6896). We could do the same for IPv6 unique local addresses(`fc00::/7`). They work without a device identifier and are comparable to IPv4 LAN addresses.
Pedelecs are getting more and more popular. It would be nice if GraphHopper would support them in the web UI by default. Other routingservices like [komoot](https://www.komoot.de/) already handle this with...
