No, there's nothing else to do normally, and there really aren't many files, even in C++.. So I don't really know where the problem could come from honestly.

Right, Linux module is missing from marketplace, did you have any other plugin from the marketplace which is working ? 

Dit you tried to enable "Use Gradient" in Editor settings > Plugins > Flat Nodes and restart the engine ?
