I can add that this behavior can't be overriden even in the global scss file. It's a bit annoying.

Got it partially working (only Fedora icon showing up) by setting `GRUB_THEME` to `/boot/grub2/themes/Matter/theme.txt`
Can confirm that happens with my settings too.

@Finii patched the font using the suggested branch and everything looks _almost_ fine now! Tried both regular and retina variants.  FiraCode NF Retina still looks of in **bold** (but...
