I don't know the direct fix, but as a workaround you could use [dts-cli](https://github.com/weiran-zsd/dts-cli) which is a maintained fork of tsdx, or try [downgrading to TypeScript v4](https://github.com/jaredpalmer/tsdx/issues/1174)
