No, I didn't mean to mark as completed. I just came to the issues page for an unrelated reason, saw my duplicate was still up, and decided to close it.
I've been wanting to get into contributing to Iced, and I think this will make a good first issue. I'll update when I've submitted a PR.

I second this. I would absolutely switch to Zed for my main VHDL editor if this were implemented.
