Use of smoove in haploid organisms

I would like to use this tool in an haploid organism. It would be possible? If so, what parameters should I modify?

I think it should work as well as it can with default parameters.

But If there is a duplication in an area, would the tool detect it in the same way in a haploid sample as in a diploid sample? Since the baseline copy number in diploid is 2 and in haploid is 1.
