We are including spring-cloud-openfeign so I suppose we use the FeignBlockingLoadBalancerClient client class.
Unfortunately I don't know the source code good enough to assist you with this question right now. I'm gonna have a look in the next time.

That's great to hear. The change has been released with version [1.10.0](https://github.com/brennerm/aws-quota-checker/releases/tag/1.10.0). I'll leave the ticket open until I switch to the breaking change scheme.
