Old issue, but still having the same issue with 2.16.1

Dash version needs to be bumped to >=2.9. Will review other dependencies as well.

Agreed that this solves the `pages` implementation - I neglected to read this issue before reviewing and implementing myself and came to the same conclusion! @snehilvj I'd love to get...
