As far as I can see, this is independent of platform. The default value for spacer makes it so that the behavior is identical to what it was before.
I don't understand how spaces act differently on the various platforms. In any case, the original issue is easy to work around.

I just learned about tox's _[skip_missing_interpreters](https://tox.readthedocs.io/en/latest/config.html#conf-skip_missing_interpreters)_ configuration option. This can provide a solution in some cases, but not for the "py3-ci" case described in this issue's description.
Keyword arguments to `Styled.like()` can be of any Python type. This is not supported in an INI file.
Can you provide some more information, or an example reStructuredText file? Which docutils configuration file are you referring to? Or are you talking about `conf.py` in Sphinx projects?

rinohtype will only break lines on spaces currently. I'm thinking this could relatively easily be changed depending on the language set for the document. It would be great if rinohtype...
