Think about exposing a Python API

As this package accrues more and more features, it would be useful to be able to build up a scene without necessarily using the GUI. I think two features would be useful to think about:

  • Expose a Python API
  • Provide functionality to save the current state of the scene e.g. layers loaded
    • Potentially also export a script to recreate the scene
