coa tools' json with animation import problem

Can coa tools import its own json with animation? I loaded sample stip.blend file, exported as json (animation info is there), tried importing it back, but got an error.

PNG can have additional data inside it (I believe Hydrus' own png plugins use it). I know of 2 examples of this: 1. Koikatsu exports pngs with scene data information....
