The only flickering I've been experiencing recently is the underscore cursor, which blinks a few times after the screen goes blank upon entering my password and pressing enter.

Okay, the absolute path works. (I thought I tried that before) The fonts I want are located in `$HOME/.local/share/fonts/` I leave `/usr/share/fonts/` just for system fonts from my distro (Arch)...
