For the record: currently you cannot use symlinks / aliases in Sketch's plugins folder. This is a known issue, and we'll try to get it fixed in an upcoming release.

Looks like this was due to an error on our side. A plugin was missing some attributes in plugins.json, which Toolbox uses to load plugin data, and it didn't handle...

I don't know… 😄 I guess I was hoping that `skpm` would rebuild the plugin whenever I edit *anything* on the project (think: images / html for panels / JSON...
