hmmm ... I changed to A2 in the driver. I edited the one in: /home/pi/.local/share/papertty-init_venv/lib/python3.11/site-packages/papertty/drivers I'm using full raspbian rather than Lite, so maybe that is slowing things a little....
I'll make up another SD card with Lite to see if there is any difference.
