Same problem for me on macOS 10.13.6, trying to install charlock_holmes 0.7.6 with icu4c 62.1 (installed via homebrew). ` --with-cxxflags=-std=c++11` fixed it.
This is also of interest to me and I'd be willing to contribute time and energy to make this happen. :)
so, what's the idea here? is there any interest in continuing with this, or should we not expect any further activity here? both is fine, i am just curious. :)
