Just for the heck of it I tried again, fresh install and importing the world - unfortunately within 3 minutes of playing, it crashed. I do wonder what it could...

Thanks! Removing the buggy lead was the fix - all well. Will make sure to remove leads that aren't in use or misbehaving.
As this was sorted and hasn't re-occurred since, I'll close this.
