Error: vim-hexokinase needs updating. Run `make hexokinase` in project root. See `:h hexokinase-installation` for more info.

For people using .zshrc in mac os (12 or later) you need to go to ~/.local/share/nvim/plugged/vim-hexokinase and run the "make hexokinase" command there
