Finally had a chance to test with the 1.9.4 release. That seemed to fix it so `audio: auto` in my Home Assistant config works now, haven't tried with `audio: pcma`...
Just checked again on GNOME 45.2, updated from 45.1 - same issue with newer GNOME version.
