Impossible to select last square pointer of polyline in vertex tool after node adding

If i added new node to any polyline segment and then want to select last square pointer to add node at the end of line. I can't do this. ###...

If I use for example vertex tool on some feature and change project vertex tool still active with edited geometry on map canvas even if project have no such geometry....

"native:snapgeometries" algorithm doesn't snap vertices for last segment in ring
