with pause somehow toggled, the z should move up a bit (maybe) and then go to the side, so color can be changed. then it could continue.

The arduino serial library is non-optimized. We should transit to a custom plain atmel code without arduino dependency.

for deceleration breaking adds to the acceleration constant. Could be bigger than the acceleration hence.
