The problem with this approach is that these tools are not consistent over the online ones. Maybe they introduce some bugs or are less efficient. I can't rely on them...
I'm open to pull requests if they are well tested and commits are not too invasive (don't try to change syntax or fix something at the opposite of the PR).
Same problem here, by displaying modbus error, I get this message : Incomplete message received, expected at least 2 bytes I updated my Debian but changed nothing else electrically speaking...
I finally fixed the problem by using the xr driver version 1a instead of 1c... strange ! (I use Dumasto install it)
