It seems the bug is not fixed yet in v0.2.38.
@ekzhu setting select_speaker_auto_llm_config works, thank you. Besides, the user guide https://microsoft.github.io/autogen/0.2/docs/topics/groupchat/using_custom_models also provides a solution.
