I am having the same issue.... it will eventually use all cpus at 100% and then just stop responding. i have to kill the process to get it to work...

from observations.... Elastic gets to like 600% cpu utilization then drops then thehive gets to 300% and stays there. this happens again, elastic 600% then the hive jumps to 600%...
