Is there no circumstance in which a user might want to, for example, create filesystems on a second disk during provisioning?
Let's aim to keep the Butane spec docs in sync with the Ignition ones. The Ignition spec docs opted for "the hash of the contents", which is a little clearer...
Also, we typically release-note changes to the spec docs, even if they're minor clarifications.
@travier, are you planning to handle updating this?
Butane now requires Go 1.17 and Fedora 35 still has 1.16. Fedora 35 only has about a month left until EOL, though, so we'll just skip the package update there.
