So the problem arises when saving and loading settings, not when applying? Would that mean I could somehow manually edit the config file to solve the problem in a hacky...

It works on my RX 6800 XT now. AMD should really add a "unsupported but works" category to their list of supported devices.

Same here, on Manjaro. Installed the AUR package that was newly updated. It crashes my desktop when trying to convigure.

Happens to me on Arch Linux as well. Wayland session (sway). Tried changing to Pulseaudio and that didnt work either. Does pulse work for you? I have the same issue...
