Still having this issue using tramp on doom emacs

KeyWords are sometimes shown in Black Background

I believe this is an issue with another extension, TODO Tree. You can disable TODO Tree's highlighting in settings to use both extensions (or pick one to use). https://github.com/Gruntfuggly/todo-tree
